In the 1908 race the “Elf” was sailing against “Ventura” in the 14NM race on the River Derwent where “Elf” won the race by over 15mins.

Elf has a long sailing history, winning a number of races in the early 1900's 1920's and 1930's She took part in the Dewar Shield for “A” class boats with her wins recorded on the Dewar Shield displayed in the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania. She was also in the 1990's in the Vintage Yacht Races on the Derwent.

The current owners have had the “Elf” since 1993 and have enjoyed many years or day sailing on her as well as proudly displaying her in the Australian Wooden Boat Festivals held in the Port of Hobart since the mid 1990's.

“Elf” is a lovely yacht that has been maintained very well over the years as well as being part of Tasmania's famous and very proud history in maritime. She is offered for sale on a walk-in walk-out basis.
