Hartley Stardrift Motor Sailer (Long Keel) "Wandering Star" SOLD
$27,990 NOW REDUCED
“Wandering Star” is a beautifully maintained 34' Timber Hartley Stardrift Motor Sailor. This boat is one for the timber boat enthusiast with all the hard work already done. She has been proudly featured in the past seven Australian Wooden Boat Festivals (Hobart).
“Wandering Star” with her long keel, high topsides, and deep cockpit is a capable sea boat. There is plenty of sail (furling headsail and lazy-jacked main) to power up on a beam reach in a breeze with the efficiency of a 37HP 3-cylinder Isuzu Marine Diesel engine to drive her comfortably at 6-knots (sipping 3-litres per hour) when the breeze is not cooperating.
Below the deck, the smell of the timber enhances the sense of cosiness and comfort. There is plenty of light from the big saloon windows. There are 4-berths (including the saloon) and an outstanding galley sufficient to keep the hungry crew fed on extended cruises.
A great Tassie boat, this vessel will allow you and your family to experience the sheer pleasure of cruising the Channel in safety and comfort. And without breaking the budget.
“Wandering Star” is reluctantly offered for sale on a walk-in walk-out basis.
The owner is also happy to sell his mooring in Geilston Bay for interested parites (Additional $3,800)
So, please CALL MATTHEW at 0437 876 775 To arrange an INSPECTION. She is currently berthed at the Prince of Wales Bay Marina.
