Cutwater 28 Sedan Cruiser
$249,950
The Cutwater 28 is an impressive and unique express cruiser designed by one of USA's most prolific and respected designers, Dave Livingstone who said, “At Cutwater Boats, we know that boating is about adventure.... Exploring, fishing and family fun. The Cutwater 28 does all of that and more”. The Cutwater 28 benefits from innovative design and boasts features that enhance comfort and performance. On approaching this fine-looking vessel, you will appreciate the sleek lines and the silver-grey topsides offset by the white decks/cabin. And, she is fully optioned with a Garmin plotter/radar, bow and stern thrusters, sophisticated electrics including a Masse genset and a 260 hp Volvo Penta that quietly and economically powers her at a cruise speed of around 15 knots.
Board via the huge swim platform with its safety rails (on which the BBQ is mounted) and integrated docking fenders. The cockpit, (with a foldaway sun awning) offers foldaway seats to port and starboard and a two-person bench transom seat that can be flipped to face aft providing the perfect place to sit at sunset sipping a cocktail. Forward to port is a built-in nest for a cooler with storage below for the barbecue grill. Opposite is the sink (hot/cold water) with a locker under it.
The saloon and forward accommodations offer an outstanding level of comfort enhanced by innovative use of space. Huge windows and roof hatches ensure plenty of light and ventilation. The fully functional galley is to port with the dinette opposite. The dining table converts to provide a double berth. The aft dinette seat folds up to reveal storage, switchboard and battery switches. The helm station is to starboard. The reversible helm chair back folds to face the dinette. There is a swivelling companion seat opposite. Step down and to starboard is the compact bathroom. Opposite is the 'breakfast nook' complete with a handbasin and coffeemaker. The versatile V-cabin can be configured as a lounge area complete with table, OR as 2 x single berths OR converted to a large double berth. Aft of this space (under the saloon) is another generous double berth (or perhaps the kid's kingdom?).
Whether cruising the coast with the family or simply relaxing in some quiet bay, the Cutwater 28' safely does it all with style and comfort.
This vessel has been well-maintained by the owner, a retired maritime professional.
