Jeanneau announces the new Jeanneau 51
Jeanneau have released the first pictures of the new Jeanneau 51 from the world dealer conference in Nantes, France.
Lee Condell, Performance Boating, NSW, is attending the show and is, "genuinely excited about this new design in terms of its suitability for Australian owners."
Lee reports, "A new hull design based on the 519 hull which is already highly regarded, combined with a sophisticated deck design with all of the same features as the 54 launched last year, which has proved to be an enormous success worldwide.
The interior design and finish is a triumph and shows why Andrew Winch design is held in such high regard in the super yacht industry. The interior is warm and inviting with subtle detail throughout and a very high level of finish. The saloon is a gorgeous space to relax in and features a proper forward facing Nav station and L-shaped galley.
The master cabin is forward with a substantial ensuite and large hanging lockers, while aft to port is a large guest cabin with a large head that can also be used as a day head.
Aft to starboard there are multiple options. It can be a third cabin with ensuite, or a crew cabin, or a storage cabin where instead of a third head that space becomes either a pantry or utility room for perhaps a washing machine and/or additional fridge.
So in summary this is a yacht that will cover miles effortlessly with a cockpit that is safe at sea and perfect for entertaining in the harbour. The interior can be adapted to an owners use and customised with a combination of timber and fabric options. A thoroughly modern design that oozes quality and style."
